ERNI in Barcelona is seeking a senior backend engineer to build and evolve an intelligent Python-based backend for an Agentic AI solution. You will implement scalable services, secure APIs, and cloud-native components using Python, OpenShift, Docker, and related tools.

You will join a supportive team, work in a hybrid model (office 2 days a week), and collaborate across disciplines to deliver innovative enterprise solutions while advancing your expertise in AI-driven backend technologies.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience developing backend Python applications.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, OpenShift, Helm, Jenkins and RESTful API development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB in production environments.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization and secure API integration practices.
• Experience with Agentic AI or LLM-based solutions will be considered a plus.

You will apply your knowledge of Python, OpenShift, Docker and cloud-native technologies to build scalable services and integrate modern AI capabilities into enterprise solutions.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend services using Python while designing secure RESTful APIs and managing relational and non-relational databases. You will deploy cloud-native applications with Docker and OpenShift, contribute to CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support the evolution of an Agentic AI platform.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
