Job summary

Core Laboratories is seeking an Inspector to perform inspections at petroleum terminals, refineries, ships, and barges. You will quantify products, take samples, and supervise loading, unloading and tank gauging to ensure compliance with API standards and Saybolt guidelines.

The role requires travel, accurate measurement, and a focus on safety. A secondary or higher education background and a valid B category license are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong teamwork.”

Qualifications

• Secondary or higher education.
• Experience in a similar position will be an asset.
• Valid Category B driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate effectively with third parties on business matters.

Responsibilities

• Inspect liquids and bulk goods on ships, terminals and in tanks.
• Quantify quantities using ship measurements and draft surveys.
• Oversee loading/unloading of products and supervise weighing on truck and rail scales.
• Collect and label samples for analysis and ensure safe handling.
