IT Technical Writer / Bid Architect
At NTT DATA, we are looking for an IT Technical Writer / Bid Architect to support the preparation of high-quality technical proposals for European Institutions and other public international organizations. This role involves close collaboration with technical experts and pre‑sales teams to translate complex IT solutions into clear, structured, and compelling documentation. The role focuses exclusively on the preparation of technical content and documentation – it does not include overall bid management or coordination responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with pre‑sales and solution teams to design scalable, secure, and high‑performance IT solutions.
- Establish high‑level IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and practices in line with ITIL standards.
- Define quality management frameworks for IT projects and services.
- Document development lifecycle and processes to achieve specific project objectives.
- Draft, update, and maintain internal IT documentation.
- Mentor and support junior or less experienced team members as needed.
Qualifications
- University degree or successful training in IT; minimum of 2 years post‑secondary education in a computer‑related field.
- Proven experience in technical writing for IT projects, preferably within the context of EU public sector tenders.
- Fluent English (at least C1 level) and excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to translate client requirements into clear, concise, and technically accurate documentation, particularly in the context of project and service management.
- Good command of M365 – MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.
- IT‑related certifications regarding management best practices (e.g. ITIL Foundation, Scrum Master).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies / best practices for both Agile and Waterfall (e.g., Scrum, ITIL, DevOps, PRINCE2, PM2, etc.).
- Experience as team/project/service leader or delivery/service/operations/project manager, operations manager.
