Xolo is seeking a People Operations Specialist to own HR operations in Spain and support our people across other countries. You’ll shape employee processes, manage contracts, payroll inputs, and compliance while collaborating with the People team and external advisors.

You’ll be the go-to HR partner for Spain, ensuring accurate records, smooth onboarding/offboarding, and a proactive approach to health, safety, and benefits as the company grows.

Formación

• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in operations or generalist roles.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law, collective agreements and payroll processes.
• Experience preparing and managing employment contracts and other employee documents.
• Experience with international HR, or strong interest in it.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Service-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
• Comfort with shifting priorities and taking ownership of your area.

Responsabilidades

• Own the full employee lifecycle for our team in Spain, from onboarding to offboarding.
• Ensure practices follow Spanish labour law and applicable collective agreements.
• Work with our payroll provider and external advisors to ensure payroll inputs, Social Security registrations and reporting are correct and timely.
• Manage occupational health and safety for our team in Spain.
• Be the first point of contact for employees in Spain on contracts, leave, benefits and other employment questions.
• Prepare and manage employment documents for different countries using templates and local advisors when needed.
• Manage day-to-day work with our EOR partners: onboarding and offboarding, contract changes, payroll and leave data checks.
• Prepare and manage independent contractor agreements and keep contractor records up to date.
• Keep employee records and HRIS data accurate, and support reporting and audits.
• Support residence and work permits, option agreements and benefits changes.
• Improve HR processes on a local and group level following best industry practices.

Location: Remote in Spain

Compensation: 30,000 - 39,000 EUR gross annually, based on your experience and seniority level.

About the role:

We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to take ownership of HR operations in Spain, while supporting our people across other countries. You will be our first in-house HR professional in Spain, giving you the opportunity to shape how we manage the employee processes. From employment contracts and payroll admin to fostering an excellent employee experience, you will be the go-to person for all things HR in Spain.

Beyond that, you'll work closely with our People team and external partners to keep our international HR operations running smoothly. It's a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, keeping things organised and making sure people processes run smoothly as the company grows.

As a People Operations Specialist at Xolo, you will:

Employment in Spain

• Own the full employee lifecycle for our team in Spain, from onboarding to offboarding.

• Manage day-to-day work with our EOR partners: onboarding and offboarding, contract changes, and checking payroll and leave data before it is final.
• Prepare and manage independent contractor agreements and keep contractor records up to date.
• Keep employee records and HRIS data accurate, and support reporting and audits.
• Support other people-related admin, such as residence and work permits, option agreements and benefits changes.
• Improve HR processes on a local and group level, following the best industry practices.

What makes you a great fit?

• At least 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a HR Operations or Generalist role.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
