About the Role

As our new People Operations Specialist , you’ll be the friendly face behind smooth processes, clean data, and positive employee interactions. From onboarding to offboarding—and everything in between—you’ll make sure our People systems and processes run like clockwork.

You’ll work closely with teams across the company to support employees, streamline workflows, and help us scale thoughtfully as we grow. If you love details, systems, and creating clarity for others, you’ll fit right in here.

You’re someone who loves to organize, streamline, and improve. You care deeply about the people behind the data and take pride in creating seamless experiences. You’re at your best when balancing precision with empathy—and you enjoy helping others by keeping things running efficiently in the background.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll :

  • Manage day-to-day People Ops processes like onboarding, job changes, relocations, offboarding, and leaves
  • Be a go-to person for employee questions—responding quickly and kindly through email and Slack
  • Keep HR systems (HiBob, Google Suite) accurate, consistent, and up to date
  • Run data audits and help spot potential issues before they become real ones
  • Support and improve system automations, integrations, and tools
  • Build clear reports and dashboards that help us understand what’s happening across Scilife
  • Maintain and enhance documentation so others can find answers easily
  • Partner with teams like Branding, Payroll, Finance, and IT to keep everything aligned
What You Bring

You :

  • Have 1-2 years hands-on experience managing HR lifecycle processes in an People Ops or HR role
  • Know your way around HRIS tools (HiBob), Slack, Confluence, Google Suite (especially Google sheets)
  • Are detail-obsessed and organized—you love getting things right the first time
  • Handle sensitive information with complete discretion
  • Communicate clearly and kindly, even when explaining complex or sensitive topics
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, fully remote environment where you can take initiative
  • Are curious about AI and automation tools that can make work smarter and more efficient

Our Hiring Process

We keep it simple and transparent—no trick questions or gotchas!

  • Intro Chat (30 mins) – Meet with Tommi, our VP of People, to talk about your experience and the role.
  • Manager Interview (45 mins) – Meet your potential manager and discuss how you work.
  • Take-Home Assignment (1 week) – A short, realistic task that reflects the job.
  • Final Interview (60 mins) – Meet a few team members, present your take-home, and ask us anything!

We use Zoom for all interviews and send official offers in writing.
