Job summary

FTI Consulting in Madrid is seeking a Business Transformation consultant to join our high-velocity teams. You’ll work with clients on execution of engagements, building financial and operational models, researching markets, and developing strategic plans to unlock value.

The role requires university-level education, proven consulting experience, and the ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments, with frequent travel and close collaboration with junior team members.

Qualifications

• University degree level (or equivalent), preferably in a numerical degree or that has a numerical element.
• Demonstrable consulting experience.
• Project experience in high paced environments focused on rapid results (e.g. rapid performance improvement, turnaround, due diligence).
• Work experience and the ability to demonstrate results delivery across functions in at least some of the following focus areas: Performance improvement, operations, financial modelling, business plan review/development, industry experience, implementation, programme management, strategy, market assessment, transactions experience.
• Fluent Spanish speaker and writer.

Responsibilities

• Modelling financial and operational scenarios.
• Analysing operations (e.g. OEE assessment, FTE benchmarking).
• Assessing company financials and researching markets.
• Formulating strategy and developing business plans.
• Identifying upside / downside potential and creating implementable improvement plans.
• Planning carve-outs and integrations.
• Conducting private equity due diligence.
• Writing presentations and reports.
• Attending client/internal meetings (including regular and extensive travel).
• Supporting junior team members.
