Laminar is seeking a Payments QA Tester Consultant to shape CBDC issuance and payment flows by translating complex requirements into clear, buildable specifications.

You will own functional definitions, design tests, and execute API-level validation using Postman and Swagger, building test collections and validating end-to-end scenarios within an Agile framework.

Formación

• 4 to 6 years on software projects as analyst/consultant.
• EQF Level 6 degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, CS, or related.
• Hands-on testing with Postman/Swagger/SoapUI and API contracts.
• Define acceptance criteria and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Translate functional requirements into actionable inputs for developers.
• Experience working in SAFe, Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Strong written and verbal skills in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

Laminar is reshaping the infrastructure that moves value across the global financial system, working with central banks, commercial banks, and financial market participants on payments, capital markets, and lending. As a Payments QA Tester Consultant, you will shape how CBDC issuance and payment flows are defined, validated, and delivered as part of next-generation retail payment infrastructure. This role demands a structured thinker who can translate complex institutional requirements into clear, buildable specifications, and who treats functional rigor as a craft rather than a checklist.

Description

You will own the functional definition and validation of CBDC issuance, working alongside business stakeholders, product owners and development squads to turn complex institutional requirements into clear, buildable and testable specifications. Day-to-day, you will define and execute functional and API-level tests using tools such as Postman and Swagger, design and document components communication data contracts, build and maintain test collections and run end-to-end validation scenarios. You will act as the connective tissue between business intent and engineering execution, ensuring nothing is lost in translation from definition to delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience as a Functional, Business, or Technical Analyst/Consultant on software development projects
• An official university degree equivalent to EQF Level 6 (Bachelor’s degree) in Economics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Hands-on, day-to-day experience using testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or equivalents, including building test collections, validating API contracts, and inspecting requests and responses
• Experience defining acceptance criteria, designing functional test scenarios, and validating end-to-end behavior
• Demonstrated ability to deeply understand functional requirements and translate them into actionable inputs for technical developers
• Proven experience working under Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking, fintech, or financial market participants
• Familiarity with CBDC, digital currencies, or tokenized assets initiatives
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and synthesize complex topics into structured, decision-ready outputs
