Qaracter is seeking a Functional Analyst with QA/testing experience to join a technology team working on banking projects, ideally within Corporate & Investment Banking environments. You will act as a key link between business and technology, combining functional analysis with testing and supporting projects from requirements gathering through to production.

Are you a Functional Analyst with experience in QA / testing and an interest in banking and financial systems? Do you enjoy working closely with business stakeholders, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring that solutions meet business requirements throughout the development lifecycle?

At Qaracter, we're looking for a Functional Analyst with QA / Testing experience to join a technology team working on banking projects, ideally within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) environments. You will act as a key link between business and technology, combining functional analysis with testing and supporting projects from requirements gathering through to production.

What You'll Do

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical development teams.
• Follow and coordinate functional activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Plan and support functional testing, QA, and UAT activities.
• Identify, analyze, and follow up on functional issues and defects.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure solutions meet expected requirements and quality standards.
• Support deployment and go-live activities, helping ensure a smooth transition into production.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, QA Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience in software development projects, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Experience with functional testing, QA, and/or UAT.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and technical development teams.
• Good understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, from requirements to production.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• English level B2 or higher is highly valued.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB).
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Finance, particularly factoring or confirming.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Previous experience in consulting or financial technology environments.
