Job summary

Thales Alenia Space in Madrid is seeking a Payload AIT Manager to lead Assembly, Integration and Test activities for advanced space programs. You will drive plan development, coordinate with departments and manage schedule, cost and quality across the lifecycle.

The role requires strong technical leadership, program management experience, and fluency in English and Spanish in a dynamic, international setting.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in project management.
• Experience in Space AIT activities, ideally beyond equipment level.
• Experience in Telecommunications, Earth Observation or Navigation Systems domains.
• Experience coordinating and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Good understanding of Systems Engineering processes and lifecycle.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and defect management processes.
• Familiarity with Ground Support Equipment (GSE) solutions.
• Experience in cost and schedule management.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Define the AIT plan, test sequence and key test bench elements based on the program plan.
• Manage execution of the AIT plan and coordinate activities with involved departments.
• Ensure availability of inputs including documentation, hardware, software and GSE.
• Lead risk analyses related to AIT activities and test campaigns.
• Monitor AIT performance and implement corrective actions.
