The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama is seeking an Assistant Cook Pastry to support the kitchen team, assist chefs, and maintain organized work areas in a dynamic luxury setting on the island of Tenerife. This role offers exposure to a range of pastry production tasks and a pathway to grow within a renowned hospitality brand.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Genuine interest in cooking, hospitality, and continuous learning.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Strong organizational skills, responsibility, and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Proactive attitude, commitment, and willingness to learn.
• Professional appearance and strong teamwork skills.
• Valid work authorization for Spain.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing and organizing ingredients for the production of dishes.
• Performing basic food preparation tasks following the instructions of the kitchen team.
• Assisting chefs and cooks during food preparation and service.
• Keeping kitchen areas clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times.
• Supporting the receipt, storage, and preservation of food products and ingredients.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety standards.
• Cleaning kitchen utensils, equipment, and machinery according to established procedures.
• Contributing to the efficient use of products and minimizing food waste.
• Maintaining a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude throughout service.
