The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama invites applications for an Assistant Cook to join our culinary team. You will support food preparation, maintain organized work areas, and assist chefs during service in a luxury resort environment.

Candidates should be dynamic, organized, and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in cooking and hospitality. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant is desirable but not essential.
• Genuine interest in cooking and hospitality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing and organizing ingredients for the production of dishes.
• Performing basic food preparation tasks following the instructions of the kitchen team.
• Assisting chefs and cooks during food preparation and service.
• Keeping kitchen areas clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times.
• Supporting the receipt, storage, and preservation of food products and ingredients.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety standards.
• Cleaning kitchen utensils, equipment, and machinery according to established procedures.
• Contributing to the efficient use of products and minimizing food waste.
• Maintaining a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude throughout service.
