Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our Cura Hospitality team in Natchitoches, LA. The role is hybrid, offering 16-20 hours per week, with on-site and remote work, serving NRMC and the Courtyard of Natchitoches Nursing Home.

As the RD, you will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions to maintain status, educate patients and staff, and ensure care aligns with Academy standards and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced Part-Time Registered Dietitian to our Cura Hospitality team in Natchitoches, LA . As a Registered Dietitian with Cura Hospitality, you will have the opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals. This position will be scheduled 16-20 hours per week, 1 - 1 1/2 days on-site and 1 day remote, covering the NRMC location and the connected Courtyard of Natchitoches Nursing Home.
