Job summary

Illingworth Research Group seeks a Part-time Research Nurse in Santiago de Compostela. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to manage trial visits, data collection, and patient care in line with trial protocols and SOPs.

Required is a registered nurse with at least 2 years post-qualification experience, GCP certification, and skills in venepuncture and ECG. You’ll support recruitment, data integrity, and patient confidentiality across on- and off-site activities.

Qualifications

Registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
GCP certification and experience in clinical trials.
Knowledge of research design desirable.
Venepuncture and ECG skills preferred.
Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organization skills.
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Fully conversant with the trial protocol, CRFs/eCRF, SOPs and timelines for day-to-day trial running.
Communicate effectively with the RNPM, site staff and PI to ensure smooth information flow.
Maintain accurate documentation and data transfer per SOPs while ensuring confidentiality.
Attend Site Initiation Visits and other necessary meetings.
Coordinate subject visits with the RN team, on- and off-site.
Ensure procedures follow the protocol and SOPs with accurate data collection.
Administer trial medication and manage storage and accountability.
Process and dispatch samples, liaising with couriers as required.
Assist in identifying potentially eligible patients and recruit for trials.
Report adverse events and SUSARs to the site team and RNPM.
Report misconduct or fraud as needed.
