Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) - Vall d'Hebron Institut de Recerca seeks a Research Nurse to join the Support Unit for Clinical Research (USIC) in Barcelona. The role provides nursing support within clinical trials, coordinating operations and ensuring compliance with GCP, IATA, and SOPs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Professional fluency in English (B2) required.
• Minimum of one year’s nursing experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Desirable knowledge of clinical trials legislation.
• Desirable experience in paediatric blood sampling.
• Desirable fluency in Catalan and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Receive requests and help organise project details for USIC services.
• Follow clinical research protocols and GCP/IATA standards.
• Perform nursing procedures (blood sampling, ECG, drug administration, spirometry).
• Support tasks for clinical research projects, including visits and logistics.
• Assist data transfer to CRF and manage sample processing/shipment.
• Record and maintain activity data and KPIs.
• Ensure activities comply with the Unit’s quality system procedures and drive improvements.
• Contribute to updating the Unit’s Quality System.
