Scopely is looking for an Outsource Lead Animator to join our Monopoly Go! team in Sevilla on a hybrid basis.

What You Will Do

As an Outsource Lead Animator for "Monopoly Go!", you will play a critical role in overseeing and guiding the animation process. You will work closely with external vendors and internal teams to ensure the highest quality of 2D and 3D animations, adhering to the artistic vision and technical requirements of the game :

• Vendor Management: Coordinate and manage relationships with external animation vendors, ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality output
• Quality Control: Review and provide feedback on animations delivered by vendors, ensuring they meet the artistic standards and technical specifications
• Collaboration: Work closely with the internal animation, art, and development teams to align on project goals, deadlines, and deliverables
• Pipeline Optimisation: Develop and maintain animation pipelines to streamline the outsourcing process and improve efficiency
• Technical Expertise: Use software such as Toon Boom Harmony, Maya, and Unity to integrate and polish animations
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for animation processes and best practices to ensure consistency and quality

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in animation for video games, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony, Maya, and Unity
• Animation Principles: Strong understanding of 2D and 3D animation principles, including timing, weight, and movement
• Vendor Management: Proven experience in working with external vendors and managing outsourcing projects
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project needs
• Problem‑Solving: Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
