Zusammenfassung

Volta seeks an OT Systems Expert to own OT standards, reference architectures and cybersecurity across its AI factory footprint. You will define controls, verify designs, and lead commissioning with a focus on zero-impact changes and robust asset inventories.

Collaboration with IT, Design, Construction, and Site Operations is essential for consistent OT implementation across sites. You will oversee vendor relationships, drive incident analysis, and ensure OT readiness is built into handovers,

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in OT, industrial control or building automation, with at least 3 in mission-critical environments such as data centres, utilities, pharma or nuclear.
• Hands-on design, configuration and troubleshooting of BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLC and DCIM systems.
• Proven record delivering OT scope through design, construction and commissioning of critical facilities.
• Experience implementing OT cybersecurity controls and secure remote access in live environments.
• Strong grasp of OT architectures and protocols: Modbus TCP/RTU, BACnet IP/MSTP, SNMP, IEC 61850.
• Knowledge of data centre infrastructure: power, cooling, UPS, generators and fire detection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence stakeholders and vendors.
• Degree or equivalent in electrical/control disciplines; vendor certifications are a plus.
• Willing to undergo background screening per Volta policy.

Aufgaben

• Act as the technical authority for OT across Volta's AI factories, owning standards and reference architectures.
• Review and approve OT designs, control philosophies, points lists and operation sequences.
• Lead OT input into commissioning and sign off OT readiness for handover to Operations.
• Implement OT cybersecurity framework with IT, including network segmentation and patching.
• Maintain OT asset inventory and network documentation across all sites.
• Provide escalation support for OT incidents and drive root cause analysis.
• Govern OT change management to ensure zero customer impact.
• Manage OT vendors and OEMs, defining scope and lifecycle planning.
• Coordinate OT/IT integration and data flows across sites.
• Keep OT standards consistent across sites with templates and graphics.
