Strong experience in Oracle Cloud ERP and project management is essential, along with excellent communication skills. Formación

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid BA/PM in large-scale Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.

Overview

Our client is undertaking a significant digital transformation programme to implement Oracle Cloud ERP, replacing legacy Finance, HR, Payroll, and Procurement systems. This strategic initiative will modernise business processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance service delivery across the organisation.

To support this programme, we are seeking an experienced Lead Oracle Cloud ERP Business Analyst / Project Manager to provide business and delivery leadership across key Oracle Cloud workstreams. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business and technology — driving requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices, and leading the delivery of successful outcomes.

Role Purpose

The Lead Oracle Cloud ERP Business Analyst / Project Manager will combine strong functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP with proven project management expertise. This role will lead business process analysis, manage stakeholders, oversee delivery plans, and ensure that system design and configuration align with the organisation’s goals, governance, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Solution Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for Oracle Cloud ERP modules (Finance, Procurement, HR, or Payroll).
  • Work closely with business leads and subject matter experts to document current and future-state processes.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, testable, and prioritised functional specifications.
  • Challenge existing processes and promote adoption of Oracle Cloud best practices and standard functionality.
  • Collaborate with the Systems Implementation Partner to validate solution design and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Support testing, data migration, and cutover planning activities, ensuring business readiness.
Project Management & Delivery
  • Lead assigned Oracle Cloud workstreams from design through to implementation and post-go-live stabilisation.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate activities across functional, technical, and change teams to ensure milestones are met.
  • Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and elevate risks or issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide regular status reporting to the Programme Board and senior stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication across business and technical teams.
Change & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business functions and the programme delivery team.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to ensure alignment of system capabilities with operational goals.
  • Support change impact assessments and contribute to training and adoption planning.
  • Champion continuous improvement and ensure the programme delivers measurable business value.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst , Project Manager , or hybrid BA / PM in large-scale Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.
  • Deep functional understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP (Finance, Procurement, HR, or Payroll modules).
  • Proven ability to manage complex business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills — able to manage scope, schedule, risk, and quality across multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with system integrators and vendor management in ERP transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of data migration, integration, testing, and change management principles.
  • Professional certification (e.g. Prince2, PMP, Agile, or equivalent) desirable.
  • Experience within public sector, education, or regulated environments advantageous.
