A global supply chain solutions company is seeking a member for their Supply Chain Logistics Execution team in Madrid. You will manage logistical flows across Europe, ensuring efficient supply to customers. Ideal candidates should have experience in office environments, logistics execution expertise, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in English and/or Spanish is required, along with any other EU language being a plus. This role offers a hybrid remote work model.

Description

Position description

As a member of our centralised Supply Chain Logistics Execution team in Madrid, you will be responsible for executing all logistical flows within Europe.

Depending on your language skills you will be assigned to a team within a particular set of countries, and you will be responsible for assuring that CHEP provides a constant and efficient supply of equipment to its customers (Retailers and Manufacturers) at the right time, in the right manner and at the cheapest cost to serve to deliver high customer satisfaction.

Major / Key accountabilities
  • Daily Management of order processing
  • On-Time Performance to Customers and transport quality tracking and monitoring
  • Supports Central in execution-related incidents
  • Logistics Support for CHEP & External Managed Service Customers
  • Dedicated fleets management. Route Management
  • Contact with local customers and third-party provider (Service Centres, D locations, PT Call Centre) to deliver CHEP orders
  • Local-level customer collaboration execution
Experience required
  • Experience in an office environment with frequent customer and provider contacts over both emails and calls
  • Experience in an environment with urgent requests and comfortable to manage those urgencies
  • Logistics execution expertise would be ideal
  • A background or interest of Supply Chain would be an advantage
Skills and knowledge
  • Computer basics (Office, Email, Excel useful)
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (email, phone)
  • Able to relate to customers, transporters, team members and other CHEP departments appropriately and to switch easily between them.
  • SAP and Transport Management system´s experience desirable
  • Service Now ´s experience desirable
Languages
  • English AND / OR Spanish to a proficient level is a must.
  • Any other EU language– for example : German, Italian, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Romanian, Polish, Czech, Russian, Turkish, Hungarian and Slovak
