Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Ophthalmology based in Barcelona, covering ophthalmic surgical equipment worldwide. You will install, service, and maintain devices in OR settings, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires travel (~70%) across the assigned territory with strong collaboration with surgeons and clinical teams. English and local language fluency are essential.

Formación

• Associate/Bachelor's degree or equivalent in medical electronics, biomedical engineering, or related.
• Field service experience in medical devices is valued.
• Experience with ophthalmic/surgical equipment is desirable.
• Fluency in local language and good English.
• Approximately 70% travel within the territory; occasional travel in EMEA.
• Role based in Barcelona or Catalonia.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site technical support for ophthalmic systems in hospitals and clinics.
• Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and repairs per regulations.
• Install, commission, and validate ophthalmic equipment in operating rooms.
• Monitor system performance and identify potential risks.
• Support service sales and promote contracts with customers.
