Plenitude is seeking an Operations Engineer (E-Mobility) based in Madrid to supervise and optimize the performance of charging stations across Spain. You will provide monitoring, remote diagnostics and on-site maintenance coordination to ensure contract SLAs are met.

Travel to Italy for internal workshops may be required. The role requires a technical degree in Electrical Engineering and fluency in Spanish and English, with Italian as a plus.

Formación

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Significant experience as a field service technician in EV charging or similar.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English; Italian is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly with a valid driving licence.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide technical support to maximise charging station uptime.
  • Debug systems and perform remote diagnostics on field failures and manage anomalies per SLAs.
  • Coordinate on-site maintenance, servicing, repair and RCA activities.
  • Plan and supervise scheduled and corrective maintenance; verify outcomes.
  • Order and manage spare parts with external suppliers.
  • Develop processes, documentation and diagnostic knowledge for standard service activities.
  • Collaborate with central engineering and operations teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Provide on-call availability for second-level support.
  • Support Sales with technical assessments and feasibility input.
  • Travel to Milan headquarters for internal workshops when required.

Plenitude On The Road (POTR) is seeking an Operations Engineer (E-Mobility) to join POTR in Spain.

Part of the Eni Group, POTR is a leading charging infrastructure operator in Italy and is rapidly expanding across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Spain.

The successful candidate will be part of the Spain-based team, with availability for short site visits across the country and occasional meetings at POTR headquarters in Italy.

In this role, the Operations Engineer will support the optimal performance of charging stations in Spain by providing monitoring and technical support, carrying out remote diagnostics, and managing anomalies in line with contractual SLAs. The role includes coordinating on-site maintenance and repair activities, supervising both scheduled and corrective maintenance, managing spare parts procurement, and contributing to the development of service processes and technical documentation.

The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish, along with very good verbal and written skills in English. Knowledge of Italian or other languages would be considered an advantage.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to maximise charging station uptime.
  • Debug systems and perform remote diagnostics on field failures by implementing anomaly management procedures in line with agreed contractual SLAs, acting remotely or, where necessary, engaging contractors for on-site activities.
  • Coordinate on-site root cause analysis, servicing, repair, and maintenance activities.
  • Plan and supervise both scheduled and corrective maintenance activities, verifying outcomes.
  • Order and manage spare parts in coordination with external suppliers.
  • Support the development of processes, documentation, and diagnostic knowledge for standard service activities.
  • Work closely with the central engineering and operations teams to ensure new issues are efficiently investigated and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Provide on-call availability for second-level support.
  • Provide technical assessments and operational feasibility input to support Sales activities.
  • Travel to the Milan headquarters when required for internal workshops.
Skills And Experience Required
  • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering. Degrees or fields of study different from those specified may be considered in the case of significant relevant experience.
  • Significant experience as a field service technician, ideally in a similar industry.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken); knowledge of Italian would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of MV and LV electrical systems management and key HSE topics related to maintenance activities.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams within the context of MV or LV site electrical plans.
  • Willingness to travel regularly - sometimes on short notice and for extended periods - with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, and possession of a valid driving licence.
  • Availability for off-hours calls and assignments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with external partners.
  • Strong self-management skills with excellent organisational and documentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and challenges simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with IT, telecoms, infrastructure monitoring, or e-mobility technologies is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in presentations, reporting, and use of Microsoft Office.
