Hero is seeking a Lean Transformation Lead to drive operational excellence on our factory floor in Murcia, Spain. You will design and implement Lean strategies, identify waste, and lead cross-functional initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

You will guide frontline teams, establish KPIs, and translate data into actionable improvements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, engagement, and accountability across borders.

Formación

• Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen expertise with proven impact.
• Minimum 5 years driving Lean initiatives and process improvements.
• Spanish fluency and advanced English required; multinational experience valued.
• Strong leadership to build high-performing teams and sustain change.

What you’ll achieve:

Drive Transformation at Scale

You will lead the design and implementation of Lean Manufacturing strategies that drive operational excellence, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver measurable business impact

Hunt for Waste, Champion Efficiency:

You will proactively identify improvement opportunities across operations, leading cross-functional initiatives focused on waste elimination, productivity enhancement, and value creation.

Lead from the Frontline

You will provide strong leadership to production teams, setting clear priorities, resolving challenges, and ensuring compliance with operational standards and company policies. Acting as a true change agent, you will lead Gemba walks, promote innovation, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, engagement, and accountability.

Turn Data into Action

You will establish, monitor, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), transforming operational data into actionable insights that support decision-making and drive continuous performance improvement at all levels of the organization.

Empower and Develop High-Performing Teams

You will lead, coach, and develop team members, strengthening capabilities, aligning priorities, and encouraging ownership of results. In addition, you will optimize workforce allocation, enhance team versatility, and simplify and standardize processes to maximize operational performance.

Build Strong Partnerships Across the Value Chain

You will collaborate closely with engineering, production, sales, purchasing, and other key functions to embed Lean principles across the organization. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and external stakeholders, fostering effective collaboration and driving value throughout the entire value chain.

Who You Are:

Lean & Continuous Improvement Expert:

• Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) with strong knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
• At least 5 years of proven experience driving Lean initiatives. Certifications such as Black, Green or Yellow Belt are a strong plus.

Leadership Catalyst

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing teams and inspiring people toward shared goals
• You create clarity, resolve challenges, and build high-performing environments

Global & Collaborative Mindset

• Fluent in Spanish and advanced in English (C1 level) to collaborate across borders
• Experience in multinational industrial or manufacturing environments is highly valued

Strategic Problem Solver

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into impactful decisions
• You think beyond the shop floor, connecting actions to broader business strategy

Continuous Improvement Mindset

• You challenge the status quo, prioritize effectively, and bring structure to complexity
• Experience in the food industry or certifications in Project Management (PMP, Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2) are strong advantages
