Being part of Track & Service Division and reporting to Director of Operations, the

Operations Sponsor

is a senior leader responsible for global oversight, governance, performance, and strategic growth of the Integrated Project Services portfolio. This role ensures delivery excellence, drives profitability, aligns operational execution with strategic objectives, and standardizes capabilities, processes, and performance across regions. It carries P&L accountability and supports business development.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Operational Delivery and Excellence
  • Oversee global execution of PMC & EPCm projects.
  • Sponsor critical global projects and act as an escalation point.
  • Develop capacity for year‑over‑year growth.
  • Monitor financial performance and take corrective actions.
Business Development and Strategic Growth
  • Develop a comprehensive capability / value proposition.
  • Participate in strategic pursuits and commercial risk analysis.
  • Foster relationships with strategic clients and global accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for geographic and service expansion.
Governance, Standardization, and Process Management
  • Develop and maintain global standards and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to execution methodologies.
  • Champion digital tools and innovation in project delivery.
  • Conduct operational audits and drive continuous improvement.
Capability and Resource Development
  • Conduct capability and competency assessments.
  • Drive talent attraction, hiring strategy, and workforce planning.
  • Develop leadership succession plans and mentor key talents.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer across projects and regions.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering; MBA preferred.
Experience
  • 15–20 years in the Oil & Gas or Energy sector.
Leadership
  • Proven experience in leading multi-region portfolios and project delivery organizations.
Commercial Acumen
  • Strong commercial acumen with direct P&L ownership experience.
