You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and resolving any issues that may arise during transit. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, customs laws, and import/export requirements.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and service providers to optimize costs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and overseas agents.
• Analyze shipping data to identify opportunities for service improvement and cost reduction.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.
• Stay abreast of changes in international trade policies and shipping industry trends.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the shipping process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in air and sea freight forwarding or international logistics.
• Solid understanding of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
• Experience with preparing shipping documentation and handling customs clearance.
• Excellent knowledge of global trade lanes and carrier operations.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Familiarity with dangerous goods regulations is a plus.
