ISCAREM Human Resources, S.L. is recruiting an OpenShift Administrator to join a major international project in Madrid. The role requires hands-on OpenShift administration across dev/stage/prod, with strong Kubernetes and Linux skills.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, and security governance while collaborating with infra, dev, and security teams. A bilingual environment (Spanish/English) is expected.

Formación

• Experience administering and supporting Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes operations and containerized environments.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and platform operations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, or similar).
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience managing platform upgrades, patches, security, and capacity planning.
• Technical coordination and collaboration across infrastructure, development, and operations teams.
• Spanish, spoken and written.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters across development, staging, and production environments.
• Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Administer and troubleshoot core OpenShift components (etcd, API server, controllers, networking, ingress/routes, storage classes).
• Manage container images and registries, including image builds, security scanning, and lifecycle policies.
• Configure networking (SDN/OVN-Kubernetes, network policies, load balancing) and storage integrations (persistent volumes).
• Implement and manage RBAC, authentication, and security policies to ensure compliance and governance.
• Automate deployment and config using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or GitOps (ArgoCD, Tekton).
• Support CI/CD pipeline integration for application deployment on OpenShift.
• Perform backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for clusters and workloads.
• Manage OpenShift Operators and Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM) for platform extensions.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to define best practices and standards for containerized workloads.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior administrators, and contributing to architecture and design decisions.
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide on-call support for incident resolution in production environments.
