Avantor is seeking an Onsite Specialist II, Scientific Support to join the AC&HTP platform in Toledo, Spain, supporting high-throughput purification for drug discovery programs. You will execute compound purification, manage samples, and maintain rigorous data integrity while coordinating with project teams.

The role requires expertise in chromatographic techniques, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment onsite at the customer

Competenze

• Preferably BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline. Or equivalent based on experience.
• Experience with chromatographic techniques, particularly reversed-phase HPLC and/or SFC.
• Familiarity with laboratory data systems, scientific documentation, and good laboratory practices.
• Ability to learn new technologies, procedures, and technical skills quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, high-quality work.

Mansioni

• Perform purification using HPLC/SFC according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Post-purification processing and ensure compounds are prepared for delivery to project teams.
• Ensure accurate sample handling, tracking, labeling, and documentation throughout the purification workflow.
• Maintain high productivity while meeting quality, safety, compliance, and data integrity requirements.
• Deliver purified compounds within agreed timelines to support medicinal chemistry and drug discovery projects.
• Use laboratory data systems and related software to record, review, and manage experimental information.
• Troubleshoot routine technical issues and elevate complex problems appropriately.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary AC&HTP environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory workflows and operational efficiency.
