Job summary

Holtec International in Madrid is seeking a Piping Engineer to support analysis and design of nuclear piping systems for the SMR-300.

You will perform ASME Section III Class 1-3 piping analyses using AutoPIPE, review pipe supports, and collaborate with structural and systems teams to meet safety and quality requirements.

This role requires 5 years of piping analysis experience in regulated environments and familiarity with Smart3D/SmartPlant and other codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5 years of piping analysis experience in nuclear or regulated industries.
Experience in ASME Section III Class 1-3 piping analysis.
Proficiency with AutoPIPE.
Experience with SmartPlant or Smart3D.
Familiarity with NRC/810 regulations preferred.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Perform nuclear piping stress analyses per ASME III NC/ND.
Analyze pipe supports and coordinate with design teams.
Prepare and review piping deliverables: stress reports, isometrics, line lists.
Support 3D piping models and resolve layout/stress issues.
Collaborate with structural/mechanical teams to resolve challenges.
Provide technical support during fabrication and construction.
Review supplier documentation for code compliance.
Ensure quality and regulatory alignment per internal procedures.
