Holtec in Madrid seeks a Senior Piping Engineer to lead analysis, design, and integrity assessments for nuclear piping systems in advanced reactors. You will apply expertise in stress analysis, fracture mechanics, and regulatory compliance while guiding multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with ASME Section III Class 1, 2, 3 piping analysis.
• Extensive nuclear piping design and integrity assessment.
• Familiarity with NRC/CSA/REGDOC regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead nuclear piping design and stress analysis for ASME Class I-III systems.
• Perform advanced fracture mechanics, fatigue, SCC, and fitness-for-service evaluations.
• Develop and implement LBB and HELB methodologies.
• Conduct piping stress analysis using industry tools.
• Interface with Smart3D/SmartPlant models to resolve layout issues.
• Provide technical leadership in probabilistic fracture mechanics and risk-informed methods.
• Mentor engineers and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop proposals, schedules, and project budgets.
