Job summary

IFF is seeking a Finance Controller to lead statutory reporting, controllership, and compliance across the Nordic region, working with the Finance Director and global stakeholders. You will coordinate audits, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with Tax, Legal, and external auditors to meet regulatory deadlines.

Bring a minimum of 5 years in accounting/controllership, solid understanding of financial reporting, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, controllership, statutory reporting, or audit coordination.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary local finance coordinator for statutory reporting, compliance, and controllership across Nordic countries.
• Coordinate statutory audits and manage auditor requests.
• Support preparation and submission of annual financial statements and disclosures.
• Collaborate with Tax, Legal, SSC, and external auditors to ensure compliance and deadlines.
• Monitor tax authority correspondence and regulatory inquiries.
• Perform monthly general ledger reviews and balance sheet analyses.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.
