Andalusia Health in Andalusia, AL, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist / CT Technologist to perform general radiography and CT imaging with focus on patient safety and accuracy. You will prepare patients, operate equipment, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure proper documentation in EMR.

The role requires ARRT-R and CT certification or eligibility, BLS, and state licensure. Hospital setting with collaboration across radiology and nursing teams offers cross-training and ongoing education.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) required.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required or must be obtained within a defined period after hire.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and/or CT Technologist as required by state law.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in general radiography and CT per protocols.
• Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness before imaging.
• Prepare, position, and instruct patients for safe and high-quality imaging.
• Operate radiographic and CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media within scope of practice and supervision.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain documentation in the EMR and imaging systems.
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and QA standards.
• Perform routine equipment QA and report malfunctions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for patient care and workflow.
• Participate in ongoing education and competency validation.
