ESK Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Network Solutions Architect to design and evolve a global network estate, spanning enterprise, data centre, cloud and hybrid environments.

You will shape network strategy, set security principles and roadmaps while leading a team of network specialists. This role blends architecture, hands-on delivery and leadership with occasional out-of-hours support and international travel.

Formación

• Extensive enterprise networking experience across LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN.
• Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto devices and security practices.
• Familiarity with cloud networking, hybrid connectivity and Zero Trust.
• Cloud platform knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP) and automation tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver enterprise network solutions across global sites, cloud and data centre environments.
• Set network standards, technical roadmaps and security principles.
• Lead a team of network engineers, managing performance and development.
• Act as senior technical lead for complex projects, implementations and escalations.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, infrastructure and project teams.
• Improve automation, resilience, monitoring and overall network performance.

We are partnering with a growing international organisation delivering secure, business-critical technology services across multiple regions. The business is investing in its global infrastructure and is looking for an experienced Network Solutions Architect to lead the design and evolution of its network estate.

This role blends technical architecture, hands-on delivery and people leadership. You will shape network strategy across enterprise, data centre, cloud and hybrid environments, while managing and developing a team of network specialists.

The role:

• Design and deliver enterprise network solutions across global sites, cloud and data centre environments
• Set network standards, technical roadmaps and security principles
• Lead a team of network engineers, managing performance, development and resource planning
• Act as the senior technical lead for complex projects, implementations and escalations
• Work closely with cloud, security, infrastructure and project teams
• Improve automation, resilience, monitoring and overall network performance
• Occasional out-of-hours support and international travel may be required

What we're looking for:

• Strong enterprise networking background, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, routing and switching
• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, cloud networking and hybrid connectivity
• Knowledge of network security, Zero Trust, firewalls, segmentation and secure remote access
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP, plus automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
• Previous experience leading or mentoring network engineers
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly
• Experience working in a complex, high-availability or multi-site environment is highly desirable
