A global technology leader is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to troubleshoot user connectivity and maintain network operations. This mostly remote role in Spain offers exposure to Cisco and Palo Alto technologies. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Cisco StackWise and Palo Alto firewalls, along with strong communication skills. The position features a 12-month contract with strong extension potential.

Formación

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco StackWise (daily operational use).
  • Palo Alto firewall experience (ACE or PCNSE preferred).
  • Experience in Cisco SD-WAN implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong end-user network support background (NOC, managed services, or campus ops).
  • Excellent English (C1) communication for user-facing support.

Responsabilidades

  • Be the go-to expert for end-user network connectivity and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and configure Cisco StackWise campus switches.
  • Manage Palo Alto Networks firewall policies and operations.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco VLANs / trunking.
  • Act as escalation point for EMEA network operations.
  • Assist with Cisco Nexus / ACI and SD-WAN troubleshooting.
  • Participate in network security incident response.

📍 Location: Spain (mostly remote – 1–2 days/month in Barcelona or Malaga depending on candidate preference)

📅 Contract: Initial 12 months (strong extension potential)

🔧 What You’ll Do
  • Be the go-to expert for end-user network connectivity and troubleshooting
  • Maintain and configure Cisco StackWise campus switches
