Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Network Engineer to join a growing team delivering connectivity solutions and managing international network infrastructure for enterprise and service provider clients.

In this role you will implement IP/MPLS services, configure Layer 2/3 connectivity, and support migrations with a focus on reliability and performance. The position offers remote work within Spain and exposure to global projects.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in network engineering, ideally within a telecoms or service provider environment.
• Good understanding of IP networking, MPLS and Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies.
• Experience working across multiple networking vendors, ideally Juniper or Nokia.
• Exposure to DWDM or optical networking would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of firewalls, IPsec and ACLs is beneficial.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with international teams.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Implement and provision IP/MPLS network services for enterprise and carrier customers.
• Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity.

• Work with technologies including IP, MPLS and DWDM.
