Job summary

Serco is seeking a Project Manager in Middletown, RI to lead Navy PORTS program initiatives. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate with the Program Manager and customers, and ensure schedules, budgets, and data deliverables meet DoD requirements.

The role requires a US citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, a 5+ year track record in management including P&L, and experience in software development projects. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Applied Science/Management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
