ARQUIMEA Advanced Systems in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid, seeks a Master’s-educated Naval Engineer to design and validate unmanned vessels (USVs) and unmanned submarines, covering hull, propulsion, sensors, and onboard integration.
You will develop navigation and control algorithms, supervise technical documentation, coordinate with engineering, production, procurement and QA, and support trials and acceptance with partners, driving technical excellence in defense programs.

Main function and scope:
Design and development of small and medium size USVs and UUVs, including hull, mechanical design, hydrodynamic design and hydrodynamic analysis
Key Accountabilities:
Design and validate motorized unmanned vessel and unmanned submarine concepts, including hull structure, propulsion systems, sensors and onboard integration.
Design and validate navigation and control algorithms.
Define and supervise the execution of technical documentation: drawings, specifications, technical reports, and interface documents; cooperating with Production department for products industrialization.
Coordinate technical activities with internal departments (engineering, production, procurement, quality) and external stakeholders.
Support activities, including trials, testing, and acceptance procedures with partners.
Promote technical excellence and innovation within naval projects.
