Job summary

ARQUIMEA, a global technology company headquartered in Torrejón de Ardoz, develops advanced naval systems including autonomous vessels and subsystems. The role focuses on design, validation, and integration of motorized unmanned vessels and submarines, with emphasis on hull, propulsion, sensors, and onboard systems.

The candidate will lead CFD/ FEM analyses, Naval CAD work, and the development of control algorithms, while coordinating with engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Naval Engineering is required.
• 8 years of experience in naval engineering or related field.
• Desirable experience in naval autonomous systems and/ or defence projects.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate motorized unmanned vessels and unmanned submarines, including hull and propulsion systems.
• Coordinate and oversee technical activities with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Develop and review technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Lead navigation and control algorithm design and validation.
• Support trials, testing, and acceptance procedures with partners.
• Promote technical excellence and innovation within naval projects.
