DXC Technology is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist based in Madrid to lead safety initiatives, coordinate risk assessments, and manage H&S programs across sites in Spain and possibly Portugal. You will work with operations, manage outsourced partners, and ensure compliance with local and DXC safety standards.

The role requires a university degree, fluent English, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills, with travel within Spain and Portugal.

Qualificações

• Fluent English (written and verbal) is required.
• University degree as per local H&S position.
• Auditor certification for ISO 45001 is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, and execute H&S annual objectives & improvement plans with operations and management.
• Prepare risk assessments and coordinate safety inspections across centers.
• Manage outsourced companies on H&S issues.
• Monitor H&S standards, legal requirements, audits and inspections.
• Ensure emergency response programs are in place and compliant.
• Assist with implementing an H&S management system.
• Ensure awareness and compliance with H&S and Fire Protection requirements.
• Review and incorporate DXC H&S standards.
• Manage H&S projects with multi-site or country-wide impact.
• Oversee daily project operations and communications with authorities.
• Develop training programs and communications for employees.
• Maintain site management systems and documentation.
• Investigate incidents and ensure preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Labour Inspections and participate as H&S expert in inspections.
• Attend worker’s council meetings and respond to requests where required.
