Job summary

DXC Technology Spain is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Madrid. The role focuses on creating and maintaining a safe environment for DXC locations, events and staff across Spain.

The selected candidate will be based in Madrid, with travel within Spain and Portugal, coordinating risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations with local authorities and internal teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent English (written & spoken).
• Knowledge of local legislation plus European), including ISO 45001 auditing preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take responsibility and ownership of delegated tasks.
• Auditor certification according to ISO 45001 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute H&S objectives & improvement plans.
• Prepare risk assessments and coordinate safety inspections.
• Manage outsourced companies on H&S issues.
• Monitor compliance with H&S standards and legal requirements.
• Develop and maintain H&S management systems across sites.
• Investigate incidents and report lessons learned.
• Coordinate with Labour Inspections as H&S expert.
• Attend worker’s council meetings as required.
