At Sulzer, we are driving exciting transformation projects across our manufacturing operations. As part of our SAP implementation journey, we are looking for a motivated MRP Controller to join our Burgos site and support the development of our planning capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional who wants to build expertise in production planning, ERP systems, and manufacturing operations while contributing to a key business transformation project.
Run the MRP system on a daily basis, ensuring that planned production orders and requisitions are aligned with the Master Production Plan. Perform capacity analysis by regularly assessing workload versus the plant’s installed capacity, identifying bottlenecks and recommending additional shifts or resource reallocation through the system when needed. Monitor production plan compliance by tracking actual manufacturing progress against the scheduled plan, analyzing deviations such as scrap, mechanical failures, absenteeism or delays, and promptly rescheduling the system to keep it updated. Update and manage key performance indicators (KPIs).
To succeed in this role, you will need Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or similar environments. Experience working with ERP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Fluent Spanish and a good level of English.
