IMPPC, Institut de Medicina Predictiva i Personalitzada del Cancer, seeks a laboratory technician to support the DM1-Hub project within GRENBA at IGTP in Badalona. The role centers on sample handling, DNA extraction, and coordinating molecular workflows in a translational research setting.

Starting Oct 5, 2026, the position offers a temporary contract through Dec 31, 2026, full-time work, a gross salary of €22,000–€23,000 per year, paid in 12 installments, plus leave and training opportunities

Formación

• Degree in health sciences or related field.
• Good spoken and written English required.
• Experience in molecular biology research environments is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, register, and organize biological samples from DM1-Hub partners.
• Process and store blood samples with proper traceability.
• Perform DNA extraction and QC for long-read sequencing.
• Prepare genetic material and monitor quality of sequencing workflows.
• Document results and maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Contribute to data analysis and project meetings.
