QTech Games in Málaga seeks a Modern Workplace Engineer to own the employee technology experience, including Google Workspace and automation of IT processes.

You will manage MacOS/Windows support, MDM, device provisioning, and local network troubleshooting, collaborating with HR and Office Management to align with global standards. English fluency and onsite work are required.

Formación

• Google Workspace admin experience at a high level (security, groups/OU, licensing).
• Proven ability to design or improve IT processes and workflows.
• Experience with MacOS support alongside Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with MDM tools such as Jamf, Intune, or Google Endpoint Management.
• Some experience troubleshooting office networking (Wi-Fi, routers, switches).
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work onsite at the Malaga office.

We are looking for a Modern Workplace Engineer to take full ownership of how technology, collaboration tools, and devices work for our Malaga office. This isn't a traditional desktop support role — we need someone who thinks about the employee technology experience end-to-end, owns our Google Workspace environment as a strategic asset, and builds the processes and automations that make IT invisible and effortless for everyone else.

You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, the mandate to build things that don't exist yet, and the opportunity to shape how modern collaboration and AI tools are used across the business.

What you'll do

Google Workspace & Collaboration Tooling Ownership

• Own administration, configuration, and security of Google Workspace (Admin Console, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Groups, OUs, access policies)
• Evaluate, pilot, and roll out AI-driven productivity features within the Google ecosystem (Gemini, Workspace AI tools) to genuinely improve how the team works — not just for the sake of adoption
• Manage licensing, permissions, and governance across our collaboration stack

Process Design & Automation

• Design and build IT support and workplace processes from scratch — this is not about maintaining what already exists, it's about creating what doesn't
• Own the joiners/leavers lifecycle: onboarding and offboarding, equipment provisioning, day-one readiness, coordinated closely with HR and Office Management
• Identify manual, repetitive work and automate it — bring your own examples of things you've automated before
• Build and maintain documentation and knowledge bases as living tools, not static files

Device & Endpoint Management

• Manage MDM across a mixed Mac/Windows fleet (Google Endpoint Management, Jamf, Intune, or similar)
• Handle device provisioning, patching, security policy enforcement, and lifecycle management
• Provide hands‑on support for MacOS and Windows laptops and peripherals when needed

Network & Infrastructure

• Troubleshoot local office networking — Wi‑Fi, routers, switches
• Escalate and coordinate with Global IT for anything beyond local site scope

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Act as the main IT point of contact for the Malaga office
• Work closely with HR, Office Management, and Global IT to align local operations with global standards
• Make independent operational and technical decisions for the Malaga site without needing constant supervision

What we're looking for

Non-negotiable

• Demonstrable expertise administering Google Workspace at a high level (Admin Console, security, Groups/OUs, licensing) — this is central to the role, not a nice‑to‑have
• Proven, concrete experience creating or significantly improving IT processes and workflows — you should be able to walk us through something you built, not just something you maintained
• Working knowledge of MacOS support, alongside Windows
• Hands‑on experience with MDM tools (Google Endpoint Management, Jamf, Intune, or equivalent)
• Some experience troubleshooting office networking (Wi‑Fi, routers, switches)
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) — this role regularly supports our C‑level and senior leadership team
• Ability to work fully onsite at our Malaga office

Good to have

• Experience with Jira Service Management or similar ITSM tooling
• Familiarity with Slack or other modern collaboration platforms
• Interest or experience in applying AI tools to workplace and IT processes
• Spanish language skills, useful for local vendor management
• Experience working directly alongside HR and non‑technical departments
