Job summary

MIGx AG in Barcelona region is seeking a hands-on Modern Workplace Engineer to manage enterprise end-user computing services across multiple sites. You will own Windows endpoints lifecycle, OS deployment, patching, app packaging and device management with SCCM/MECM and Intune.

This is an engineering, 2nd/3rd‑level role emphasizing stability, security, automation and compliance. You will automate tasks with PowerShell, document processes, and collaborate within ITSM, SLA and change-management

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on SCCM/MECM deployment and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, device management and compliance.
• Experience packaging and deploying applications (PSAppDeployToolkit preferred).
• Strong Windows patching at enterprise scale and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Entra ID.
• Strong Windows 10/11 engineering and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ITSM processes such as ServiceNow.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows 10/11 deployment and lifecycle, including imaging and device onboarding.
• Deliver and monitor monthly security patching, troubleshoot deployment issues, track compliance.
• Package, test and deploy applications using SCCM/MECM, Intune and PSAppDeployToolkit.
• Manage Intune device configuration and compliance policies, Windows Autopilot and Entra joined devices.
• Support the transition from Group Policy to modern endpoint management.
• Provide 2nd/3rd-level technical support, including troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Use PowerShell to automate operational tasks and administrative work.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and knowledge-base articles.
• Work within ITSM, SLA and change-management processes in regulated environments.

We are looking for a hands-on Modern Workplace (MWP) Engineer to manage and continuously improve enterprise end-user computing services in a regulated, multi-site environment.

You will be responsible for the lifecycle of Windows endpoints, including OS deployment, security patching, application packaging and distribution, and device management with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and Microsoft Intune.

This is an engineering and 2nd/3rd-level support role with a strong focus on stability, security, automation and compliance.

• Deliver and monitor monthly security patching, troubleshoot deployment issues and track compliance.
• Package, test and deploy applications using SCCM/MECM, Intune and PSAppDeployToolkit (PSADT).
• Manage Intune device configuration and compliance policies, Windows Autopilot and Entra/Hybrid joined devices.
• Support the transition from Group Policy to modern endpoint management.

Requirements - Must have

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), including OS deployment and software distribution.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Intune, device management, compliance policies and application deployment.
• Experience with application packaging and deployment, ideally including PSAppDeployToolkit.
• Experience managing Windows security updates and patching at enterprise scale.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Strong Windows 10/11 engineering and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with ITSM/ticketing processes such as ServiceNow.
• Strong documentation skills and good written and spoken English.

Requirements - Nice to have

• Experience with GPO-to-Intune migration and modern/cloud endpoint management.
• Experience managing iOS and Android devices.
• Experience in a GxP, pharmaceutical, life-sciences or other regulated environment.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as MD-102 Endpoint Administrator
• Familiarity with Zscaler or similar secure access technologies.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Experience supporting a multi-site, international environment.
