You will receive dedicated mentorship from senior researchers and collaborate with an international group of researchers and engineers to decide on a line of research that will impact the ML field and potentially Apple products. You will work toward a publication in a top ML venue and ensure high standards of rigor, privacy, and innovation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
• Publications in top ML conferences preferred (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Python and DL toolkits such as PyTorch and Jax.
• Ability to formulate research problems, design experiments and implement solutions.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate next-generation ML techniques with focus on recurrent and generative models, interpretability, and alignment.
• Collaborate with Apple ML researchers to design, run experiments and evaluate results.
• Prepare a publishable research paper and contribute to Apple products and privacy standards.
