Job summary

Fundamental is an AI research lab in Barcelona advancing enterprise decision-making. As part of the Research team, you will ideate, design, implement, and evaluate breakthrough ML models powering Nexus, our flagship Large Tabular Model.

You’ll own stages of the model lifecycle—from data handling and training to evaluation and deployment—working alongside software engineers to ensure scalable, maintainable code. The role includes competitive compensation, equity, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with the full ML research cycle.
• Strong fundamentals of software engineering.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks.
• Experience with ML infrastructure and distributed training.
• Expertise in tabular or structured data models.
