Kepler Cheuvreux busca un Middle Officer para el área de Back & Middle Office en Madrid. La función implica apertura de cuentas de cliente, gestión de operaciones y seguimiento de liquidaciones en un entorno financiero internacional.

Se valoran experiencia en Middle/Back Office, capacidad analítica y habilidad para trabajar de forma autónoma, respetando plazos y prioridades en un entorno dinámico. Se anima a candidatos con inglés y, si es posible, francés.

Formación

• Licenciatura en finanzas, economía, contabilidad o área relacionada.
• Experiencia previa en Middle Office o Back Office en mercados financieros.
• Fuerte capacidad analítica y de resolución de problemas.
• Interés en productos y mercados financieros.
• Fuertes habilidades de comunicación en inglés; el francés es una plus.

Responsabilidades

• Apertura de clientes y recopilación de datos estáticos.
• Gestión de transacciones: contabilidad, asignación y confirmación de operaciones.
• Seguimiento de liquidaciones con contrapartes y custodios.
• Participación en iniciativas de mejora operativa y enriquecimiento de datos.
• Elaboración de informes sobre actividades operativas y procesos.
• Colaboración con otros departamentos para resolver incidencias y controles.

YOUR TASKS:

Client Opening and static data:

• Collect and establish comprehensive client data, including details on commissions, taxes, settlement instructions and services provided. Ensure proper setup of client accounts across relevant systems.

Transaction Management:

• Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions, including booking, allocating and confirming trades into appropriate systems.

Settlement Monitoring:

• Collaborate with counterparties, custodians, and clearing platforms to ensure timely and compliant settlement of transactions, promptly resolving any issues that arise.

Process Optimization:

• Actively participate in initiatives to improve operational efficiency and data enrichment.

Analysis and Reporting:

• Producing regular reports on operational activities involves compiling and summarizing data to provide updates on ongoing tasks and processes.

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments to resolve operational issues, implement appropriate controls, and enhance existing processes (ex. Accounting/Risk/Compliance...).

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• Prior experience in Middle Office or Back Office roles within the financial markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Interest in financial products and markets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
