3Doubles Producciones in Tenerife on-site seeks a Mid Animator to lead a small team of artists and elevate project quality. You will translate directors' visions into expressive characters and ensure smooth integration within the pipeline.

Candidates should master Maya, understand animation principles, and contribute to creative pipelines. The role offers a collaborative studio culture and daily mornings shift in a sunny island setting.

Responsabilidades

• Solve medium complexity actings and complex body mechanics.
• Ensure animation consistency, expressiveness, and adherence to guidelines.
• Collaborate with rigging, layout, FX, and QC teams to integrate animation.
• Review and refine animations based on feedback from directors and supervisors.
• Ensure proper export, technical implementation, and functionality within the pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Solve medium complexity actings but be able to resolve any action shot with complex body mechanics.
• Ensure animation consistency, expressiveness, and adherence to artistic and technical guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with rigging, layout, FX, and QC teams to enhance animation integration into production.
• Review and refine animations based on feedback from directors and supervisors, ensuring high-quality final outputs.
• Ensure proper export, technical implementation, and functionality of animations within the production pipeline.

Requirements

• Complete mastery of body mechanic.
• Medium knowledge regarding acting and interpreting.
• Able to pinpoint the style of a project, and follow it for the animation.
• Able to interpret an animation reference and apply it on the shot.
• Aable to reuse the animation from other shots and adapt it to yours when necessary.
• Able to create animation cycles for the library.
• Able to perform a given task without going over the bid.
• Basic notions regarding cinema language.
• Previous experience in other productions.
• Smooth usage of Maya for the animation environment.
• Intermediate written and spoken English skills.
• Knowledge of tricks and shortcuts in Maya.
• Makes proper technical pitches for shots.
• Adjust medium-difficulty camera settings.
