Qualifications

• Abschluss in Informatik, Data Science, Business Analytics oder vergleichbar.
• 2–5 Jahre Erfahrung in Analytics Engineering, BI oder Data Engineering mit Microsoft Fabric & Power BI.
• Erfahrung bei der Übersetzung von Geschäftsanforderungen in Analytics-Lösungen.

Responsibilities

At G+D Mobile Security, a world leader in secure telecommunications systems, we are looking for a Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Expert to join our team in Barcelona. This person will be responsible for designing, building, and operating end-to-end analytics and data products on Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Pipelines, Notebooks, Semantic Models, and Power BI reports. The initial focus of the role will be Finance reporting, financial analytics, and finance data products, with opportunities to expand into additional business domains over time.

Your Tasks/responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business domains and Data Stewards to understand business requirements and the reporting structure of MS Fabric / Power BI use cases.
• Align data requirements and semantic models with IT / Group Services to ensure consistency and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end analytics solutions in Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Semantic Models, and Power BI reports.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to define, implement, and maintain financial reporting standards, KPIs, and management dashboards.
• Introduce and implement AI-driven data visualization practices to enhance usability, insight generation, and user experience.
• Design and optimize Lakehouse and Warehouse data models to support scalable analytics and reporting use cases.
• Drive the integration of AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered insights, and data agents into reporting and business processes.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Fabric Development Pipelines, deployment processes, release management, and environment governance.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in business informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or comparable qualifications.
• 2–5 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Business Inteligence, Data Analytics or Data Engineering with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Experience translating business requirements into analytics solutions with measurable business value.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Pipelines, Notebooks, Semantic Models, and OneLake.
• Hands-on experience developing Fabric Notebooks using SQL and Python for data transformation, preparation, and analytics use cases.
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality management, and security concepts.
• Experience working with Finance data domains, including P&L, Revenue, Cost, Margin, Forecast, Budget, and Actuals reporting.
• Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused attitude
• Very good English skills / additional German skills would be beneficial
