Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Madrid is establishing an Operation Center of Excellence within Grid Integration. As an MEP Engineer - Building Services Engineering you will design and plan complete building services systems for European projects, coordinating with customers, partners, and site teams.

You will work on HVAC, lighting, fire safety, and access control systems, using Revit/BIM tools, participate in FATs/SATs, and manage budgets and schedules from concept to detailed design.

Qualifications

• Degree in building services, electrical, mechanical or related field.
• Experience in building services including HVAC, lighting, fire safety.
• Strong communication and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Experience with design tools such as Revit, BIM and Relux.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concepts, proposals and inquiry docs for building services.
• Manage disciplines within projects including budget and schedule.
• Coordinate external planners, consultants and suppliers.
• Integrate disciplines into the overall project and BIM coordination.
• Facilitate meetings with customers, partners and site teams.
• Conduct FATs and SATs with customers and suppliers.
• Support bidding and cost estimation activities.
