Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a MedTech Field Service Engineer/Technician for Spain on a flexible/part-time basis. You will install hardware for automated medication dispensing systems in healthcare facilities across Spain and related travel.

Expect 16–30 hours weekly with travel time included. The role requires 1 year of electronics/hardware/software/mechanical experience, English and Spanish/Portuguese, and ability to meet credentialing and immunization requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachillarrito Diploma is required.
• Minimum 1 year related electronics, hardware, software or mechanical experience required.
• English and Spanish/Portuguese is required.
• Professional business acumen and communication skills required.
• Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
• Ability to work with design engineers, project managers & healthcare personnel to identify equipment layout, operations, and workflow required.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status, required.
• Position may/will require up to date immunizations.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds required.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, testing, and assembling automated medication dispensing systems; all tasks revolve around installing and configuring hardware, software and mechanical medical devices.
• Review of schematics / drawings, documentation, and logistics to support installation activities.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with quality compliance requirements.
• Partner with a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs.
• Training for this role will be provided and is paid.
