Job summary

KARL STORZ in Madrid seeks a service engineer focused on servicing and repairing endoscopic instruments and equipment, including installation in operating theatres/OR1 theatres.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or vocational training in electromedicine.
• 2-3 years of experience in Service positions.
• Desirable background in Medical Devices companies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and assessment of equipment and instruments.
• Technical installations in operating theatres.
• Technical support in the workshop, where organisational requirements dictate.
• Repairs to electromedical equipment / equipment upgrades / Stay Ready checks.
• Assembly of towers.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance on equipment and instruments.
• Training and technical support for customers/users and the sales department.
• Preparing activity reports required by the tools in use and carrying out other administrative tasks.
