Grifols Engineering SA, part of the Grifols Group and specialized in developing technological solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, is currently seeking to incorporate a Mechanical Project Engineer.

The main role mission will be to coordinate pharmaceutical engineering projects in accordance with process requirements and regulatory standards, ensuring technical quality and compliance with established objectives.

What your responsibilities will be
  • Define the scope, planning, and budget for assigned machinery projects.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and clients.
  • Organize meetings with clients to follow up and define technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with validation and production teams during the qualification and commissioning of machines and installations.
  • Design, calculate, and supervise prototypes and machinery.
  • Carry out mechanical design, documentation, and assembly drawings.
  • Specify and select equipment/instruments for integration into projects.
  • Establish contact with suppliers and supervise their work and delivery quality.
  • Monitor design progress and support external personnel to ensure proper design of subcontracted machinery parts.
  • Oversee assembly and support external personnel to ensure correct machinery assembly.
  • Proactively resolve issues that arise during installation and commissioning.
  • Provide support for any issues that may arise after installation.
  • Develop and supervise testing plans to ensure proper machine reliability.
  • Coordinate the project team to define priorities and align resources and tasks with objectives.

  • You posses a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Specialized training in the pharmaceutical sector and/or in Project Management will be highly valued.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or industrial sector.
  • You have a high level in design software, especially SolidWorks and/or Creo.
  • You have a high level of English (equivalent to C1 - Advanced).
